The India-UAE: Partners in Progress Conclave 2025, held on May 15 at the Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, The Palm, Dubai, marked a significant milestone in the evolving strategic partnership between India and the United Arab Emirates. Hosted by the India Today Group in association with UAE India Business Council – UAE Chapter (UIBC-UC), the event convened senior policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators to chart a collaborative path forward.
The Conclave focused on enhancing collaboration in key areas such as trade, innovation, logistics, skilling, and soft power, aiming to shape the next phase of India-UAE relations. Distinguished speakers included H.E. Sheikh NahayanMabarak Al Nahyan, Cabinet Member, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, who emphasized the enduring friendship and shared values between the two nations; and H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, who highlighted the importance of sustainable economic growth and innovation.
Prominent UIBC-UC members such as Mr. Rizwan Soomar, Mr. Tariq Chauhan, Mr. Siddharth Balachandran; and Ms. Deepika Rao, Mr. Kuruvilla Markose, and Mr. Neeraj Teckchandani contributed their sectoral expertise, driving impactful discussions across various industries. The Conclave also welcomed dignitaries including Dr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan (Minister for IT & Digital Services, Tamil Nadu), Mr. T.G. Bharat (Minister for Industries, Andhra Pradesh), and Mr. Praveen Pardeshi (Chief Economic Advisor, Government of Maharashtra).
