Building on UIBC-UC's earlier publication, Opening New Gateways: Tourism Opportunities in India and UAE, this report presents a holistic understanding of India and UAE’s tourism sector and examines it as a tool for bilateral growth, cultural diplomacy while also aiming to catalyze cross-border tourism linked investments. Drawing on state-wise and emirate-wise analysis, as well as global best-practice models, the study offers comparative insights into each country’s tourism strategies. The paper concludes with recommendations to build a resilient, inclusive, and forward-looking tourism collaboration between India and the UAE.
